Simon has been main gallery directing since 2013, edited, and produced a wide range of features and content for network television, shooting much of the material himself. His love for making television and film is reflected in his work, ideas and resourcefulness finding original ways to depict stories and content with entertaining and engaging approaches. He is experienced and confident working with talent and contributors, writing scripts, editing, and bringing work in on time and to budget. With ten years spent in regional news and a number of years main desk directing, he is conversant with gallery vision mixers, studio systems, and procedures. Having worked internationally, he has a good understanding of location shooting and the pitfalls of working in extreme environments.

Michael was one of the early pioneers in drone technology and has worked in television programme making since 2013.
